Rained off

Should have been playing in a Foursomes comp today, but rain and the state of the course has caused it to be cancelled. I have a "board" comp on Sunday, hope we get a bit of respite for that.

Pouring it down here near Preston. Tomorrow and Saturday are supposed to be o.k though but more rain forecast for Sunday so wouldn't get me hopes up if I were you. Perhaps try and get a game in before

Well the good news is the forecast down this way is 10 more days of rain in Wiltshire. The forecast doesn't go any further. I will just have to go and get soaked to get my golf fix, the range is getting boring!

Pretty wet here and I have a team match at 5.30. I think the word is "unenthusiastic".....

It's if the courses stay open though thats the problem have heard lots of reports about them shutting due to the amount of standing water on the fairways and in the bunkers.

Got a club match on Saturday afternoon. Forecast looking grim. FJ waterproofs going to get a proper test and to be honest I'm not up for it at all. Was going to the range but the wind is blowing and can't see much merit in it when you can't tell if its you or the ball causing it to move
