Played 1st thing this morning, rain wasn't too bad and wind started to pick up on the back 9. Should make buffer with 82 for 73, should have been better though, lost 2 balls with my dodgy driving
Hopefully weather isn't too bad as we have a Texas Scramble on tomorrow.
been teeming it down here ALL day- medal cancelled and forecast for the next 7 days is appalling.........

We've got glorious sunshine here although very windy just now. Late yesterday afternoon though it was like a monsoon before we tee'd off. So much rain came down that ducks were having baths in the puddles on a couple of the fairways. Got nine in before the heavens opened again.

Thank god we have not had it,finals day at Hirsel which is a big day financially.
I enjoyed a game at 7.30 at Goswick in glorious sunshine......it was the only thing that was glorious,my golf was anything but!

7.00am start for me dry front 9 and 13 points back 9 had 3 heavy showers and 21 points. Just as I left it looked like the world was about to end.

Greensomes this morning. We both played terribly, but scrambled to 36 points. Leader on 42, but four somes tomorrow, and better ball next Saturday.
Rumour has it this afternoon will be cancelled, so all scores from this morning are scratched, and it will be replayed next Sunday.

Medal today and the wind was brutal. Got it round in net 73 (+3) and was lying 3rd in my division when I left. Some massive scores in by some good players. I even started off with a triple and had doubles on 9 and 12. It chucked it down after I got in which won't help scoring and we had another big downpour mid-afternoon
