Recently had my clubs regripped and in the dry they are sublime, but I played in horrendous conditions last weekend and they were quite slippy in the wet, was thinking about a set of dedicated rain gloves to help, any suggestions on some? Did try to keep my towel dry and use it to dry the grips but it was raining so hard I could have fell in the pond on the 17th and not got any wetter.

i use the footjoy rain gloves and its amazing how good they are - the wetter they are the better they perform

Macwets.

I experienced the same issues and I used them during the now infamous Old farts vs. Whippersnappers weekend at woodhall spa a few years ago when it was basically torrential rain for two days and they were superb.

(shame my swing wasn't)

Ideal, not crazy money either, especially considering you're getting two gloves. Really didn't want to have to change my spanking new grips.

I have them too and they are superb, even if it does not rain.

I will say the MacWets are still better though and worth the investment.

I will go back to MacWets despite my good experience with FJ.

This!

Used to use macwets which were good, but the fj's are stupidly grippy. What I like is the macwets only work when wet so you have to keep them wet when the rain stops, the fj's grip like mad even when bone dry

Yep, what Baz says!

Looking on eBay at the macwets, they are a sports glove for many different things or do they make a specific one for golf.

Thanks to all that recommended FJ rain gloves.
I bought a pair last week in preparation for the winter. Little did I know I was going to need them within a week of purchase.
Very impressed with them. They were absolutely sodden wet but still gripped perfectly. I didn't even bother to dry my grips in the end.
Mind you I have no idea how long the gloves will take to dry out as they are hung up at present with water dripping merrily to the floor!

Another fan of Macwets - but they need to be wet to work.

Haven't used the FJs that might be an option for those 'iffy' conditions!

From memory, Macwets started off as a solution to Equestrian sport/recreation grip issues, then expanded into Golf. Change your search to 'Macwet Golf'
