R9 Supertri Driver..

I'm thinking of getting one - would be good to see a review, if you can write one, mate.

I got one a few weeks ago and love it! Set it up for a draw and was hitting it well but then decided to tinker with it, after a painful medal round on Sunday I have put it back to where it was. Live and learn.

Worth tinkering at the range as there are quite a few combinations. The reason I changed it was that in a right to left wind there was too much draw spin.

Re: R9 Supertri Driver..

I have one, I am a high handiccapper. I had been really struggling with my driving, but this club is straight and long.

American golf let me take one out for a demo and I had a fantastic round with it. The cost was the only thing stopping me buying it straight away, it was about 320 pounds, but recently come down in price and I caved in.

I have a 10.5 regular and just leave it on neutral. Good shot is straight/slight draw.

Re: R9 Supertri Driver..

Thats an absolute bargain, the R9 driver was on sale at 150 for a long time and I also hit that well. I had that in my online shopping basket a few times, but the supertri is just so much more forgiving. I hit it near the hosel today but it still flew a bloody long way and pretty much straight.

Of course the only downside to buying a new TM driver is that the next version will be out next month. There is the R11 on the horzion (what's that coming over the hill - is it a monster?) and you can pick up the fantastic TM Tour Burner or standard Burner for £89

I don't like these changeable drivers. I'm too much of a tinkerer with my game as it is and this would be a nightmare for me. Any bad shot would have to be down to the setting!!!
