R7 Limited

Hi all

i am thinking of getting an r7 limited lefthand, cant decide between the TP or normal version, can get a 2nd hand for about £90 or new £150

i welcome any feedback

The TP will sit slightly open and the standard version sits slightly closed. If you are an aggressive drawer of the ball, you will like the TP, if you tend to fade/slice then you would be better off with the standard version.

I agree with Murph here as I have an TP version albeit an R5. I bought it when I was new to the game and did not know any better it used to go all over the place, anywhere but the fairway. However now I have been playing for a while it is a great Driver to use. If you are a slicer steer away from TP stuff as it will only exagerate a slice.

I've got the standard model and love it. Given your handicap you should be more than capable of hitting and controlling the tour model so fill your boots. Either way the R7 Limited is a superb driver even for cack handers

Thanks, tend to slice the ball when playing badly and draw when playing good, think ill go for the 9.5 normal version with stiff shaft!
