At our 3rd hole today I drove off with my TM R1 driver and hit a very decent drive straight down the middle. Then couldn't find my plastic stepped tee peg, until another member of our playing group noticed that it was sticking out of the bottom of my driver. The pointy end had somehow got wedged in a groove in the face angle adjustment dial. Can't ever remember anything like that happening before in the fifty odd years I've been playing the game! :)

I use a pink castle tee and I went through a stage where it happened 4 times in one round. It's not just you.

Same thing has happened to a friend a few times.

Once it damaged the dial quite badly and he ended up with a replacement.

Pink castle was also the offender.

:mmm: One other Taylor Made issue. I have a RBZ Stage 2 hybrid that has a 'speed slot' in the sole. Every time I hit a shot from a muddy lie (rather common at the moment), I have to clean a load of grot out of this slot!

I got rid of mine. Find that pink castle tees get the mud out well.

I thought the slot was filled so that didn't happen or is that only on the irons?
