R & A Rules OK

I had it today but my other half said that if I took the job, whilst living near the Kent coast, I might not be able to pop home for lunch!

True I suppose. But the idea of working in st Andrews appeals rather. As does the idea of being in a position too feed certain forummers some misleading responses... ):-( (l can't do a devil smiley on this thing)
 
I would apply if my English was better. Alas I have all the grammar and spelling ability of a room full of monkeys on typewriters.
 
Bit that made me smile was that you don't need a good grasp of the rules but must be a quick learner (diary note - don't both emailing R&A for 6 months or so for any rules Qs while the newbie settles in and causes chaos for a bit!!)

If someone on here got the job I bet Delc would still be able to argue with them.

In fact what if Delc applied and got the job!!! The 2016 update could end up having a few changes.
