Hi all,

We're spending some time with Tony Jacklin later today. Have a question you'd like to ask him, on anything from his best career memories and modern equipment to the prospective Rory/Spieth rivalry and how to grow the game? If so, let us know below. Keep an eye out on the Golf Monthly website from 4.30pm today to see Tony's answers.

Many thanks,

Nick

Until the 80s, opportunities for international players to play in US majors were still limited. For example, Christy O'Connor never played a U.S. major despite 10 Ryder Cups. Which player's record do you think was most affected by this lack of access?

Tony, do you think the best in the world can now hit the ball too far and if you do what should be changed?

Tony, in your opinion, what top 3 things should UK golf clubs do to promote participation in the sport?

If you were creating your vision of the perfect golf club, would you have a dress code and, if so, what would be the requirements on and off the course

Tony - do you still have nightmares about the 12th hole at the Hotchkin, Woodhall Spa? And admit it, you would have made THAT putt on the 18th at Royal Birkdale in 1969 wouldn't you? And finally, just how bad was the Slazenger K1 speed driver?!!!

Do you have a set of Slazenger great big ezee irons you'd like to sell?

Tony
How hard was it to change the outdated mind set of the British Ryder Cup organisers when you accepted the Captaincy?
Did you ever envisage the dramatic effects on the British teams that followed your many changes?
Dewsweeper

You were captain for 4 consecutive Ryder Cups, what is your view on the constant rotation of the position nowadays?

Also, how's the dancing nowadays

What do you feel technology has brought to the game both in terms of equipment and agronomy etc. Is it a change for the better or is science slowly taming the game?

You filmed an instructional video (think it was on the IOM) where you explained how to use the contours of the ground. Did you really hole that long iron on the first take?

How have the standards of the courses changed over the decades? Not in terms of length but rather conditioning and playability? What effect has this had on scoring?

And it over at 5pm odd. Teach me not to read the OP properly:o
