Quick question

I know you guys said if I blow up on a hole in a medal it's fine as it gets cut back to a double for hcap purposes. But is that a double for the hole eg if it's a par 4 it gets made a 6 or is it meaning my net for a hole so if it's one of my 2shot holes its an an 8 or 7if it's one shot? Just wondering as sometimes I like to throw in a big number every now and again and wasn't sure how it gets knocked down

Worst for handicap is a NET double bogey. So if you shot 8 on a par 4 but were getting two strokes the 8 would stand.

Ideal thanks. Jus thought I'd double. Check hopefully if finish work intime tomorrow I'm playing first comp in almost 12months so wanted to make sure I'm armed with all info in my head. Not plannin on shooting more than a 7 all day. Last month or so I been playin bogey golf when playin well and Regulary comin 3or 4shots under me hc so hopin for a cut and no blow ups
