I found this link after a quick google search.

Seems there is a legal and non legal version.

The US spec will be legal. If it was bought in the UK, then no, it won't be. Check on the R an A web site or Google non conforming drivers and you will get to the page. They have photos of the correct markings for a legal driver. Generally TMs with 'max' stamped on the face are illegal.
