Shot a personal best in the medal yesterday gross 78-14=64 net for a 5 under score. My question is my exact handicap is 13.8(sorry not updated sig) have I made my season target of getting to 12? HDID not been updated yet and I'm like a small boy at crimbo.

I make it 12.3 if there was nothing worse than a double in your gross 78

I had a inkling it was going to be that but wasn't sure when the cut would change to a cut of 0.2 per shot. 1 double bogey on the card at a par 3.

Cheers Steve hope your right

It's 5 x 0.3 1.5 shots until HDId updates then CSS will alter if necessary. It changes to 0.2 when you hit cat 2 at 12.
Well played that man!

Just to put a slight dampener on your great round!

Which course was it?

And which set of tees did you play from?

If it was at The County and off the Yellows then unill the CSS is established, with an SSS of 68, you are still off 13 (13.8 - 4*0.3 = 12.6 - though you can play off 12 if you wish! SSS off the Whites is 69, so an additional 0.3 reduction will take you to 12.3, so 12. In either case, the CSS might go to down 1, so 12.9 or 12.6 resp!

So you still need to wait until CSS is published. You don't use the 'Predicted CSS' - for those with 'Player Score Input' as this can change with subsequent scores. Looks hopeful though.

Great round though!

No need to (and shouldn't) wait for HDID.

Placing on HDID is not 'publication', Posting on HDID is simply confirmation that comp has been Completed and Results have been Published.

It's the results on the Board (or Computer) at your club that are the true 'Published' results. In very rare cases, it's actually possible that omp details can actually be backed out, amended and re-published without being re-posted on HDID! That's the 'joy's' of 'Parallel' systems!

Moral is to check, wherever possible, your handicap on the board.

In your case, you have the added complexity of having an Away club too! You still need to factor any reductions from Away comps in as well!
