Quick Handicap Cut Question...

14 handicap (13.6) scores nett 76 on a par 70 (SSS 68)...so 6 shots under handicap.

What would the cut be?

Does crossing between cat 3 and cat 2 affect the cut?

Net 76 would be a .1 back.

A gross 76, net 62, would give a cut of 4x0.3 to take you to 12.4 and cat 2, followed by 2x0.2 to come down to 12.0.

Oh, and congrats on the cat 2 - I assume you aren't asking 'for a friend'

Yes you get cut 0.3 whilst in cat 3 then once you get to cat 2 it's 0.2.
Good shooting anyway.

Oops yes gross 66. My friend is very happy

I was told I should be cut to 12.0 today but my howdidio profile isn't working for some reason. Just wasn't sure how the .3 and .2 cuts work together.
