quibids

Looks like a clone of madbid. You end up spending a fortune "bidding" and winning the item cheap bur its cost you x bids at y cost per bid plus the final fee.
The company does well out of it if the bidding gets fierce.

Does anyone know anyone that has actually won something from this style of auction site? Looking at the one in the link, the bidding drops to 1 sec and someone bids back to 15 secs, wait and repeat.

Me thinks you have to be very lucky to win, or spend your life just watching a clock repeatedly count down from 15 secs if the hope you're the only one watching.

And as written above by the time you've paid for all your bids, cost in the amount of time you've spent sitting watching, you could've been down to the shops, bought whatever item, had a day out meeting people, had some exercise and spent no more on the item then you would've on the site anyway.

Won a tenner on madbid for some thing like £2.50 then looked at the options I could either use said tenner for more bids or pay approx£7.50 (basically it was price paid + "admin" cost = £10) to have the money deposited in my account. Never went on the site again!
