Hi all
what RickG and HawkeyeMS dont know yet is they will be putting some questions to Mr Harrington for a video piece (how are you on camera Rick and Mike?) when they meet him at Carton House in just over a fortnight's time

However they dont get all the fun... I want the forum to suggest questions, that I'll then whittle down to a handfull which I'll pass over to the boys to ask.

As an incetive there will be a nice wee prize for anyone whose question we select.

One thing to bear in mind. Padraig always gives a 'thorough' reply to questions that are put to him so don't leave yours too open ended - eg "So, Padraig, what are your thoughts on the short game?" as the answer could take a while

Over to you...

So, Padraig, have you ever kicked your bag further than you topped your ball?

Cheers

Steve...

I would like Padraig asked with hindsight, and after winning three majors, was it really worthwhile tinkering with his swing and if yes, can he see any real benefits.

Who is the one player dead or alive that he would of liked to be paired up with for a round ?

Whats is the worst thing he has seen a player do on a course ?

When choosing a Caddy , what things do you ask them and what do you look for ?

Cheers

Midnight...

How about this:

"You've been involved in two recent controversial rules situations recently. Given that the rules are complicated enough to administer already, do you believe that spectators at the course or at home should be able to influence the outcome of a round of golf by essentially calling penalties or should the rule makers put a stop to this now?"

I don't really know too much about his swing changes so I'd be interested to know what is the key thing he is working on to get his game back to it's best.

can you ask him what happened at the ryder cup, when he played his second shot during the terrible weather into the green when the group in front were still on it!!!!! could he not see because of the rain? did someone tell him to hit as it was clear? etc
also when will he be back in contention and is there more majors to come. great player

That's a great question

Does he think there is any specific reason that European golf is having such a successful time at the moment.
Rory, Lee, Luke, that German lad and a few others, it's not as if they all just arrived through the same academy, is it just a coincidence or is it more that the American tour just doesn't seem to have it's players firing on all cylinders?

Don't thInk I've ever been on camera before, hope you've got some good make up artists Mike :D

Certainly don't ask me to stand in for you matey. It'll be enough to scare the kids and will be a real xxxx horror show. I'm ugly enough in real life let alone through a lens. You'll be fine and I'll take care of the make up ladies while your doing your "thing"

can you tell Padraig that those Kartel waterproofs he advertises are mince i was given a set and can only get my leg down one side o the trousers other side sealed up above the knee and Kartel just ignored my request for replacements.

On a more serious note.

How many balls per week does he thinks he hits during practise, not counting competitive play. And what percentage of these are hit to make swing changes?

It'd be good to see just how many baws the pro's are going through to make a change when us mere mortals are trying to maek changes with only a few hundred balls over a few weeks. I reckon its in the thousands for each change. And I reckon they must hit about 2000 per week minimum.

A lot has been said about the increasing technology that goes into club design and the options available to modern professional golfers, like hybrid and rescue clubs. Seve, for instance, could take a 7 out of his bag and fire one onto the green from the deep rough, so to what extent do you think that modern golfers have it "easier" than former professionals?

Well padraig we all understand the need of a good consistent pre-shot routine.

Can you tell me how showing your teeth under a tightened top lip helps to coax the ball ball to do what is required of it during flight........

chompin' :p

Genius, Pure Genius

Fragger :D :D
