Questionable putting aid?

The clip shown looks more like somewhere in between a smooth stroke and a Tap and stop sort of putt. I sometimes revert to tapping rather than stroking and with some success, but as far as the aids go, I am not so sure, as they wont be with you in a match and you just have judgement and memory, like any method really? The methods that make you and your body remember have got to be the best though, I would assume?

To me, accuracy is only as good as your ability to read the green and pace, whilst using a well practiced putting style.

I say save the cash and do 10 minutes a day along your skirting board. Then 15 minutes with a rail.....

It looks like he takes it straight back with the putter head square, but allows the head to close naturally on the followthrough. I'd imagine it's a good drill / aid for short to mid length putts when you don't need a longer backswing.

I'd also imagine that he hits his putts with greater authority and acceleration than you and me, so he probably has a shorter backswing than most.
