Has anyone seen any of the players at Augusta using square drivers?
Mickelson ain't and the Nike boys don't seem to be either,is this telling us a story?

Ernie Els was using the FTI I believe.

I am a pretty average golfer and I drive the ball well so perhaps the square drivers are more hype than anything else.

i just thought if they were that good that all the tour pro's would have them in the bag

Square ones are ok for hitting straight apparently but most of the pros feel they need to shape drives at Augusta e.g. 13th you need a big draw off the tee whereas at 18 you need a decent fade therefore they go for the traditional shape. Personally I think the square drivers are a bit gimmicky and wouldn't be happy looking down at one of those on the tee. Dont really like moveable weight technology generally either.

Have not seen him hit a drive on any of the coverage that I have seen but doesn't KJ Choi usea square Nike driver.

Square Drivers are for forgiveness, so anyone in the masters will be wanting to shape there tee shots so wont wanna use them!

I can't imagine anyone in their right mind using a square driver around augusta.....there isn't a straight drive on the course....

I did hear one of the commentators talking about someone using two drivers, think it was mickleson but could be wrong!

Thought so, he doesnt use a square driver does he? What where the two drivers mad? or the differences if you know?

One was weighted for a draw and the other was neutral.

I hit a square driver yesterday for the 1st time and didnt like it one bit. It was so strange I think it would put me off.
