I thought last nights programe was better than of late.
I seldom watch now unless panel members interest me.
David Davies was on and I felt he was a better choice for Conservative party leader than David Cameron.
Four interesting panellists and a good imput from the audience, even the apparent Labour Councillor.

Same here, I don't often watch it as they have so many lightweights on it. David Davies comes across more honest than most politicians and as a former minister is more interesting

I lost what little respect I had for David Davies after that gimmicky stunt he pulled in 2005.
I think that blew any chance of becoming Party leader also.

Wasn't Charles Kennedy a little bit tiddly on QT last night?.Seemed to be.
Rambling answers,forgetting questions..Bit embarassing really.

I thought the same myself, real shame shame because he seems a good guy and usually comes across well.

Terrible decision by someone at the BBC to allow him on the air.

Yes. Awful to watch but could not take my eyes off it. Reminded me so much of a pal of mine when he was battling his booze problem.

Charlie Kennedy is an alcoholic, he's admitted so in the past. The BBC should have recognised the problem and stopped him appearing, shame on them.

Kennedy is a decent man fighting demons and needs saved from himself sometimes.

Agreed, always felt I could have voted for him.......if he had better policies.

Not watched QT for a while now, so don't really have an opinion on it nowadays, however I'll give y'all one anyway. :)

I think it has been dumbed down for quite some time now. Rarely do you hear a well reasoned debate or thoughtful pointed question, mostly it's halfwits stuttering and stumbling through whatever point they are trying to make.......and that's just the panel!!

Does she still think good debating skills involve talking non stop over whoever is speaking in that shrill voice of hers?
Can't say I miss watching it tbh.
Pity, it used to be one of the better shows on the beeb.

I like Dimbleby but he is hardly an impartial chairman. I dont like the way he keeps jumping in with is own questions which are probably feed to him by the Beeb.

I used to be a bit of a fan of QT, but the way the audience is selected has always concerned me. It shouldn't need the 'stacking' of the audience to create debate.

I'd prefer some sort of 'relevant but random' audience selection!
