Question re: Game Golf Data

Morning all,

One for the Game Golf users. I'm thinking about using it with my phone (iPhone 5S, 4G enabled) but I've got a 3GB data allowance.

How much data does the app use over the course of a typical round?

I start the round before I leave my house so the course is loaded onto my phone through my wifi. That way it only uses the gps on the course

Im on a 2gb data cap and I've used GG loads this month. I'm the same as mteam, I download the course on wifi before hand and even with a GPRS signal out on my course I still manage to record the round.

A wee wee tip is too quit every app running on your phone while using it. Any app running background app refresh will take away a good connection to GG servers. It does zap your battery a good 40% during 18 holes and I have an iPhone 6 so its good to have some life in it. Otherwise it's a dead useful app.
