Whilst we cooked tonight's dinner she asked me

"Is there anything else on TV tonight other than your golf"

I'm sorry but I just laughed and said that was the most stupid question she'd asked in 40 years!

You must have other examples!

(I was switching between footie and the Test Match at the time)

We had BGT on for about 5 mins, some sob story about 3 lads singing with their dad.
I ended up wrestling the remote off the Mrs.
Id question anyone's mental state who thinks that is entertainment.

Mines ok thanks, and viewing figures from the weekend suggest that over 10 million people watched it.

Yep cant see how anyone can be accused of having a "mental state" issue because they watch some very talented people - sing, dance or entertain people.

I agree Phil, not that I've watched much of BGT this time, but just sometimes I like to sit and be entertained and that does it for me. When I want serious I watch Panorama etc

thanks Phil and Chris, had booked in for a psychiatric assessment due to my enjoyment of a hugely popular TV program, Will cancel it now. Thanks.
