SNP MP's telt off by the speaker for politely clapping.
Not in the tradition of the house he says
It seems like they will have to learn to bob up and down, wave bits of paper, shout loud hoorahs or yahhhhboos, baaaa like sheep etc etc etc to fit in.
Bit of a culture shock for them.
I'm really looking forward to constant commentary for the next 5 years about the SNP MP's and how they're so different and much better than the other MP's. I don't expect any of them will ever be involved in a scandal.
In terms of mirroring the Cons manifesto, I thought it pretty much spot on. No surprises and no big giveaways.
Because they haven't a clue how they are going to pay for half the stuff they promised - not expecting to have to enact it.
I would not say they were better, pretty inexperienced to start with, but they are definitely different.
There is a great picture of the Commoms from last night which shows about 40 SNP MP's, ONE Tory MP, about 3 Labour MPs and a few others. So yes different.
In your opinion. Unless of course your mates down the pub have the inside knowledge. And of course all the other parties had all their manifesto's costed to the penny.

Not in my opinion - they themselves haven;t been able to say how they'll fund the £12Bn welfare cuts for instance - other than saying that they'll manage to do it because they managed before. Bit like saying I'll get a par on the next hole because I got a par on it the previous time out. If they can fund all this stuff and then find tax cut giveaways for the better off whilst taking welfare cuts from the less well off without hurting them then that's great.
I thought you funded spending, not cuts!
indeed...oops - how one little letter changes meaning when find becomes fund![]()
