My lovely other half bought me some Celtic Manor vouchers, to the value of 90 quid - enough for one round on the 2010, or 2 rounds on both of the others... The quandry is though, that none of my playing partners want to stump up for a round !! So basically, I've got no b*gger to go with! Tight gits...

I have much the same problem. Recently took golf insurance and got vouchers for three different hotel-chain courses.
drawback, almost all are miles from me and not cheap. so what sounds a good deal isn't quite.

The Squire is a member of the Montgomery course, however, he has a mate who is a member of the 2010.

When I played the 2010, I really enjoyed the company and the time I had, but the course...... Ive played better. Granted they were working on it but it just didnt get the blood going like Bearwood lakes, London Club does to me.

However, with the Ryder Cup being there you should play it, Just to sit in your armchair drink in hand saying "yep I pard that, What an idiot"
