Qualifying Rounds - more ?

Today my lad is clocking up his 85th qualifying round in the last 12 months - and that is with 10 weeks out of the country.

Anyone done more ?

Handicap gone from 6 to 3 so gradual progress.

I doubt that would even be possible at my club. I don't think there are that many qualifying comps!

I played in nearly every club qualifier plus a load of ones at other courses and only managed 37 last year.

Wow, knew the 85 would be beaten but did expect it to be by that far - you must play a lot of golf !

Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays - predominantly qualifiers - 128 on my playing record which includes a few NQs. I also play in Seniors matches, away days, away weekends and a golfing week in Turkey every April, but I never seem to get any better at the game.

We don't have that many in a year, even if you add in midweeks and senior events

When changing clubs one key criteria was number of QF comps - my obvious choice basically runs NQ Oct to Mar and very few of them and would struggle to get 20 QF's in during the summer so ruled it out.

Played 50+ QF last year, could do even more at club I have joined (playing 2 courses currently) if I chose to.
