I have just come back from 4 months off because of a broken hip. Determined to find something to fill the golf gap the only thing I could do was practise my putting.I had wanted to go back to a heel/toe putter so bought a Odyssey #1 and to aid me in my practise a putting mirror and a thing called a putting sword.. This thing is fantastic, I spent hours just trying to get the ball rolling along its length using different grips stances and swings.. In the end I found the most accurate method was left hand over right.. so Thats what I practised.. It took 2 rounds after coming back to get the feel of the greens etc but my next two rounds both of 40 points were 28 and 25 putts! yesterday I hit just two greens in reg and what do you know 3 putted both of them !! but the rest was pure magic. I believe!!

putting is the one thing we should all practice more to make the biggest difference but not many do (myself included). Was your practice indoor at home or on practice green?

I've got a welling putt matt i'm planning on using throughout winter
