Right I'm after a new to me putter, last season my putter and me just did not get on,great from short range but my lag putting was rubbish. I'm liking the look of the odyssey no 9, and reviews or other recommendations?:putt:

I cant recommend any putter because I havnt looked back since I got fitted.
I believe in the putter and it gives me confidence.
I know plenty that chop and change, but im sticking with it for the foreseeable.

Find out what suits you.

I spent years being hot but then mostly cold with mallets as they suited my eye - but not my stroke.
After a couple of seasons with maybe 3 hot rounds and probably 10 HORRORS I tried all sorts of old ones from my shed. Found I was better with a toe hang.
Picked up a Yes Callie 12 a couple of weeks ago and that is what I am going with this season. Hopefully fluctuates between hot and warm!
Putters are VERY personal IMO. Hit as many as you can in pro shop etc. and see what seems best. Once style is picked I honestly think all brands are similar. Mizuno on onlinegolf for £49 could work better for some (most?) than a £300 scotty.

only real answer is top go to a shop that has a decent variety and find what suits your eye and works when you try it. Can extend that to a formal fitting if you want, personally not convinced thats needed for a putter but them im a tinkerer and changer of putters lol

Oof liking the mizuno and short enough for me.i tried the Scotty del mar before and liked it but not the price, also the odyssey black no9 but again it was very pricey, the MIzuno looks very nice

I've just had the T106 Mizuno and would recommend it, the quality and feel were fantastic and my lag putts were greatly improved.
For me though I've gone back to a mallet now as I just wasn't 100% confident on the <10ft putts.

I have an odyssey black no9 on ebay at the moment!

Flick between my milled Odyssey #9 and my Ping Anser depending on confidence and the greens. Trouble with putters is its all subjective so what suits one won't suit another. Go out and try as many as you can, ideally at a golf club where they should let you try on a proper putting green

Odyssey No7 one of the most used putters on tour, it just feels so right. I also don't think you can go wrong with the old Odyssey two balls.

I use a odyssey white hot tour 9 and love it.
Face feels nice and soft which I like and the shape suits my eye.

I'd go to a pro shop that has a decent practise area, rather than a big chain store.
Bought a putter from american golf once because I used it on the matts they have and liked it, once I got it out on the course I soon realised I didn't like it at all. Far better to go on actual greens to try them out IMO.
