Morning all

I am looking for three people to take part in our big putter test that will take place next Tuesday (4th) at Stoke Park. The three selected will spend the day with a team of Golf Monthly staff testing out the latest putter models. They will then be required to provide detailed feedback on the putters they tested for a feature in the magazine. Applicants will need to make their way to Stoke Park next Tuesday and the day will last from around 8.30am until 4pm. If you are interested in taking part please email the following details to paul_o'hagan@ipcmedia.com

I'm not sure that I'd have been entering for moral reasons of not being a greedy so-and-so, but I will also be flying out to Tenerife at the end of this week! Hoping to have a game on the Las Americas course :)

No golf for me in Tenerife just got back from Turkey on Saturday after a weeks golfing.

Started typing an email to Paul, keen interest in putters recently, am available on the date and local, but sent to trash due to my recent good fortune courtesy of GM... Good luck guys! you will have a great day i'm sure!

PS. if you are short on offers Paul, i am available last minute ;-)

Good luck to all those that enter, GM test/fitting days are and awesome experience. I can't make Tuesday but wouldn't enter to give others the opportunity like my recent Visit to the Belfry for a titleist day and round on the PGA National and Brabazon.

Serious question, why do all of the 'opportunities' appear to be London based?

Seriuos answer - because that's where most of the manufacturers are based or at least where they choose to have the events. Also GM is based in London.
The only thing stopping those up North form going for it is the cost I suspect.

And there have been events held in Scotland, Several Scots have been picked for fittings for irons, clothes and hybrids if I remember....

They're not.

I was at the Ping putter fitting a fortnight ago which was at the Forest of Arden. Still a fair drive for me but worth it.

When GM are running a "we'll come and fit you for clubs in you're back garden" opportunity I'm sure you'll be top of the list......
