How long does it take?

The actual cutting off, cleaning & refitting of a new grip?

Only ask as I have just called my local AG asking if I can drop off putter around 1:30 & pick it up about 4:30.

They have said they may be pushed to get it done, but should be ok....I thought it was (basically) a 5 min job?

Have I missed something? I don't want anything fancy, just getting my old Wilson back off my mate & I know the grip is in a bit of a mess.

It should only be a 5-10 minute job, but AG will get busy at times and may have others to get done besides yours, unfortunately.

It really is quite a simple thing to do. Try it yourself. Take your time and you may find it quite theraputic and rewarding.

I wouldn't trust myself to do it. I have watched some vids & it looks easy enough, just know I will do it wrong.

There isn't a direct golf near me....

& as for the store, it's not far from my work & there are always (& I mean ALWAYS) 3 or 4 staff hanging around looking for something to do when I go in which is only ever at lunchtime.....

I would allow for at least 30 minutes including getting organised. The longest job is usually cleaning off the old double sided tape.

Yeah, I am not expecting a "while you wait" but I originally said can I drop it off 1:30ish & pick it up 4:30ish. At that point I was told it may be done in time.....
