Hi all

I am looking for advice, I am after a putter, I looked at the MD range of putters but found reviews hard to come by. I was going to post in the Wanted section but not allowed to yet :( lol I am after an odyssey 2 ball or something similar, would people suggest spending the money on a new putter from MD or a used odyssey?

Ive been using a mates XRT White Steel putter and got on with it pretty well, and have always used mallet style putters

With a putter, you need to give it a try before buying in my opinion! Get yourself down to your local Direct Golf or your course, and give a few putters a try and see which one you feel more comfortable with. Let the Pro know if you have a budget in mind etc.

Most people will ignore how important the putter is and would rather spend £250+ on a driver. The putter is the club that ultimately gives you your final score.....

Out of my price range :(

And I will, this is a short term kinda thing to be honest, I want to spend Sub £50 and it will be a stop gap as I need to order one asap and have no time to go and test many right now.

I will be saving and getting a proper fitting for a new putter in a few months, if im not getting on with what I purchase anyway

If your going to spend £50 on a putter just to get you by, why not just spend £12 on a Dunlop one from Sports Direct and put the saved £38 towards a lesson??

I agree with above, dont see why you'd spend £50 on a stop gap. Get a cheapy and get the game sorted 1st or until you know what sort of putter suits ur game ie mallet, blade etc.
