Hi all,

Did a search but couldn't find anything.

Clearly this would depend upon putting stance (and I appreciate there are quite a few 'odd' ones out there, from a traditional perspective), but is there any way a 31" putter might be suitable for someone that is 5' 10" tall?

Thanks!

I'm 5-9 and I cut my putters down to 32". Have been doing this for last 4 years and putting has improved to now be one of my stronger areas

Think David Howell uses a 32" and he's around the 6' 2" mark

Thanks both.

Tempted to blind buy a forged putter from eBay by sniping it. Not much general interest in it from the looks of it - I suspect because it's been cut quite short and would need to be reshafted to be lengthened.

You wouldn't need to reshafted it. Any club pro would be able to add a little shaft extension to whatever length is required. Once grip is on you wouldn't even know it had been altered

Top bloke! i had a putting lesson from him, dont think i have mentioned it for a while!

There was a small group following him as he was well down the field. So it was easy to get up close and see the shots he was playing. Hoping to see him have a few good results yet this year

Depends on how long your arms are really, if your like an orangutan then shorter is good, if your arms are like a t Rex then longer will be better.as long as your eyes are over the ball.
