Does anyone know of, or can recommend, a place that sells aftermarket putter headcovers.

I'm not after anything fancy or personalised (although wouldn't rule it out), just a nice quality and pleasant to look at mallet headcover with a magnetic closure.

I've Googled it and found a few. Most are either in the US, very expensive, or both.

If anyone's bought one from America, was there much duty to pay on it?

Thanks.

On the duty question, you will pay 20% VAT on the total cost of goods and shipping. So if your cover is $40 and the shipping $15, say, you will pay approx 7 quid on top.

Google ComoCome covers for a nice range. TourSpec golf in Japan does many interesting and bizarre designs too.

I am interested in this as well. The velcro on the cover for my Big Fontana has gone and I am fed up with traipsing back to pick it up.

Thanks. Some 'interesting' designs there!

This one isn't bad though for just under £20, although sold out.

Not trying to hijack this thread, but posting because I saw this on a link from this thread and didn't feel the need to post a new thread completely, so apologies to the OP.

Had a look at the Tourspec page from Japan as per Ethan's mention. The first image that came up was a pair of yururi wedges, they looked very familiar (see my avatar pic of my ICYgolf wedges) :-)

what putters it got to go on Gary?

IJP do a few Mallet ones as do Odyssey but both quite small

Scotty Cameron Futura X5 :o. I guess a lot of people must like their headcovers otherwise they'd change them, but I'm not keen on velcro, there's way too much 'fluff' and it has 2 parts to open every time you want to get the putter out.

I've seen the IJP ones, which aren't bad. I think the US Open one is my favourite of those that they have for sale at the moment.

I'm going to use my Odyssey cover on it for now until I can sort something else out.
Although I'm not OCD (I don't think!), I don't like the idea of one manufacturers cover on a different manufacturers product - if that makes sense?

After Ethan's reply about duty, the US isn't a bad option and Golf Iconic aren't mega expensive to design your own.

when you fall out of love with it feel free to give me first refusal lol

the headcover on the Ketsch is excellent, the one on the Kombi I used to use however was an utter nightmare (i went through a few!)

I have bought a couple from China via ebay, around £7 to £8, decent quality and no duty charged.

Ebay, I got a putter cover for my Odyssey Versa 9 Half Mallet for £7. Magnetic closure, silver (not my first choice of colour) with embroidered lizards on it.

I got a pink panther one I quite like off ebay when I had a blade, but there doesn't seem to be as much choice for Mallets. It doesn't help that if you use the search facility it rules out all the suitable ones where lazy people haven't described it very well!

Will always keep an eye out on there though.

Do you still have it?

I have just got a 4i cover on mine at the moment.....
