Is there a generic way to work out what grip is best for hand ?

Currently use a midsize pistol but thinking of experimenting with something larger. Local AG hasn't a great selection so would probably order from Adore.

I think a putter grip is totally personal and its what feels best for you. As long as what you have suits your hands and mind, thats all that matters.

Try to have a putt with a few before deciding if possible. I moved to a superstroke mid size a couple years ago after reading all the rave reviews. Liked it at first but found I struggled with distance control on longer putts - apparently a common issue.

Switched putters to a Scotty with a standard grip and found that much easier to judge distance control with. Think there are so many variables at play with putter grips though - much will depend on grip, feel, technique etc, hence the suggestion to try as many as you can (especially as some are pretty expensive!).

I think the answer is no.

I want to a bigger grip from a standard on my Odyssey to try to keep my wrists more stable and it worked for me so I have stuck with them. Really down to feel.
