I am in market for a new push trolley (I was looking at electric, but the price puts me off a little, and I don't think at 26 my golf buddies would let me use without the odd jibe).

So what trolleys do people use here? Any recommendations or better yet any trolleys/brands to stay away from?

I don't think you can go far wrong with Go Kart and their after-sales service is well documented to be excellent.

I use a Sun Mountain Micro Cart which was a prize I won, £149 new. Very easy to push and get up and down quickly.
If you're not fussed about name my old man uses £70 one from Argos and it's excellent value for money, looks a bit quirky but it's a great trolley.

i've got the Motocaddy S1 Lite. i've had it over 3 years now and its perfect. I'm 26 too so its not too uncool!

i paid less than £100 for it too.

You do know that you can get 2nd hand Powakaddy Freeways for sub £100. I have bought 4 of them. 2 of they required some work, new rivets, straps and new frame part. Sold each one for £100. The most recent one I bought had a 1 year old 36 hole battery, required a new upper frame tube(£20) Got it for £40 :) picked it up in Edinburgh and its been my 3-4 weekly use trolley for my cart bag.

Look on Gumtree, ebay is so saturated with overpriced trolleys

You have a good 50 years before you are old enough to even think about electric trollies.

I have had a Powercaddy pushalong for over 5 years now, it is very good and I would certainly recommend it.

I wouldn't be put off by your age. A lot of electric trollies (Go Kart, S3 etc) aren't really too expensive and would be a better option in my opinions. If not my personal favourite in terms of push carts is the Stewart
