MrsP has announced she wants to get me a push trolley for Christmas. Very kind! I've no idea what to look for, but preferably something in the £50 range I guess. Something I can put my stand bag on as well, as I'll be lugging in the winter months and can't really justify 2 bags. And something she can easily order online, as she doesn't drive much.

I've had two wheel trolleys and three wheel trolleys. Three wheelers are much easier and place less strain on your shoulders, in my experience anyway. You may struggle to get a decent three wheeler at that price. Would you be happy with a 2nd hand one for Christmas? I got a Motocaddy S1 Lite for £45 off Gumtree and I am really happy with it. Much better than the, decent, two wheeler I had previously.

Got my 3 wheel for just over £50 on amazon

My friend had it and it worked well so I went for it too, very pleased.

[h=1]Masters Gold 5 Series 3 Wheel Push Trolley is the name on amazon[/h]

Ag have a masters 3 wheeler for 59.99 good enough job

Have two mates one with the masters and the other has a bright colour one he paid around 140/150 for it. And TBH the masters is just as good. The dearer one folds up smaller but not sure if I paid a 100 quid more for that privilege

I bought three different types(all off ebay, cheapest I could find on buy it now at that moment in time), from £30 to £40 IIRC, all 3 wheel push types.

All been fine and dandy and so much better than the 2 wheel pull types.

This.

I've got a masters series 3 three wheel, which is fairly good in the budget range. I no longer use it as I've gone electric due to age and a hilly course!
There isn't much difference between the series 5 and series 3 other than gadgets on the handle I believe. The 2 large wheels can be removed easily if space in the car is at a premium.
I used it for about 20 months playing about 120 rounds.
The only problem I had was a nut coming loose and a bolt that went through the handle wore badly. These were easily remedied with a trip to the local hardware shop and buying nuts and bolts for a matter of a few pennies
there is a series 3 on Amazon for £45 at present.

I recently got a masters 3 wheel 5 series for 59.99
Can't fault the thing, can also be used as a 2 wheel if you would prefer. But as probably already mentioned 3 wheels is the way to go. Doesn't fold down the smallest but will fit in any average size boot along with a set of clubs. Couldn't be happier with mine

£60 for this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bullet-Deluxe-Wheel-Trolley-Cruiser/dp/B00BQZM5J2

Got it two years ago off the wife as part of my Christmas, and still going strong. Only issue has been the bottom clamps that the vertical part of the frame slides into when upright both snapped; a quick email to the manufacturer and I got a complete new set FOC and a doddle to fix.

Much sturdier than the Masters 3 I had before it.
