Anyone used them?

I've just booked with them for 3 days parking. Not on the airport though - about 10-15 mins. bus ride away.

I've heard of some horror stories about other so called parking companies in the past, but hopefully the cowboys have been run out of town!

Fingers crossed!

We have beeen using APH parking for years with no problems.

we always use Maple manor Meet n Greet
its so convenient rocking up at the terminal and just dumping the car.

always there on time at the return stage too, no hanging about..

You off somewhere nice?

Hope the OP doesn't mind, but can i jump on here and ask similar, but i want to stay with the family the night before flying and have a week parking... Anyone any recommendations?

I've used Purple with no problems whatsoever. Cars are left in a secure compoud and are there waiting for you ready on your return. 24 hour bus service which runs every 20 mins or so.

Similar deal at APH, with bus service every 15 minutes.. We get 25% discount for being registered for emails. and our next holiday in May/June for 16 days works out at about £80. Seems a good deal for secure parking. They also do meet and greet, and you can combine a hotel stay.

Sis in law has used the holiday inn express in Crawley. You leave your car at purple parking funnily enough but there is a free bus to/from the airport. They've also uses the Marriot at gatwick. They store your car off site for you but you have to pay for the airport shuttle apparently.

Might use Meet n Greet next time as I've already booked.

Wife and I are off to Rome for 3 days - a Christmas present from our daughter!

Thanks to everyone for your replies, you've restored my faith.

No worries Rooter, ask away.

Great idea though, staying in a Hotel the night before - takes away all the stress!

Haven't done it at Gatwick but used Radison Blue in Heathrow for Christmas. Hotel and 10 days parking was only £15 more expensive* than 10 days parking. And walking distance from arrivals, so just a 3 minute walk, just off short term. From now on I always find out if it is worth it.

* I actually paid for 9 days parking because I booked the night of the flight day rather than the one before. No problem to change, no surcharge. I wasn't the 1st, I won't be the last to do it.
