How hot do you need to get the hosel to pull a shaft ?

Can I get away using a hairdryer or should I look to borrow a hot Air gun.

Depends on the glue used (and epoxies vary a lot!).

Hot air gun works ok, a good blowtorch also works well to deliver localised heat quickly.

Assuming you are doing irons and steel shafts - have an oven glove or heavy gardening glove on one hand to grip and twist the (hot) clubhead.

Heat gun is my choice of weapon.

Also no need for a gardening glove. Put a towel on the floor, stand on the head and twist the shaft. Do not attempt to do graphite without a shaft puller, you'll ruin your shaft.
