Puuhh...off to gymnastic shortly,,,but have noticed weight increase....trousers are tight on around stomach...

Is it dangerous with christmas and new years leave from work and normal routines.....

To much food and ale during this period......................Now its only to face it and realise---to loss weight will be hard work and decrease food and ale consumption.......

So how have you all have it with your weight control during this long leave from work..........

Probably put on about 6-7lbs. But I can usually shift that much by just cutting down on carbs for a few weeks. Don't really drink so its just the excess of food mainly chocs and sweets.

Put on 3Kgs which is a lot less than I've managed in the past... Possibly because I have managed to limit my beer intake... Having a couple of pints of the black stuff with my kippers for breakfast... Whilst enjoyable is maybe not a good idea for someone on medication...

Ive put on almost a stone.

Diet started yesterday although I dont think the Curry I made last night and the bacon and egg sandwich im eating atm will help.

I weighed myself this morning, 12 st 9. I was 12 st 7 before my xmas partying started. I was 12 st 3 around September. My aim is to give up the drink totally for January, except for two nights. My Mother in Laws 60th and a work awards do. Apart from these I won't touch a drop of beer or wine.
My diet will improve once I'm back to work on Monday as I'll be on breakfast shakes, fruit, nuts and sensible dinners. No take aways, junk food or massive buffets! Work help by giving everyone free fruist during January:)
Exercise wise, I went running Thursday, just 4 miles. Will try squeeze in 4 miles today and maybe tomorrow seeing as the Captains drive in has been cancelled. Running club starts agains Tuesday so this will be 5 miles of interval training i'm also going to be starting a Tabata or Grit fitness class once a week too.

I hope to be 12st or just under by March 3rd.

I started trying to lose weight about a month before Christmas and was very keen for the festive season not to ruin the efforts I'd put in. Now that it's all over, I'm 2lb's down on what I was a week before Christmas :-)

I found it an absolute doddle not to put any weight on over Christmas!

My son gave me his sicky bug!

It's so easy to put on weight and seemingly so hard to get it off

I'm the guy who can't eat a biscuit without paying for it, don't drink, my job is basically walking around at a brisk pace for 5 hours a day

I think white bread and potatoes are my weakness it's so easy to eat too much of that kind of thing especially at Christmas

I gave up sweets/chocolate a couple of years ago and steadily lost about 12/15kg over the course of maybe 18 months, have managed to keep it off, but have noticed the same tightening of my clothes around this time of year

Think increasing my golf over the summer and continuing on my anti sweety diet will see me right again (possibly cutting out more bad carbs in the process)......... I hope :D

I'm counting calories and fat taken in verses calories burnt. So far since NYE I've managed 3 4 miles runs which burns around 500 calories. Yesterdays intake was 2400 calories with 500 burnt and this included Jalfrazi, Rice and bhaji! I know thats not good for me but once i'm at work tomorrow I'll be eating my 5 fruit and veg and no fast food!!
