Just watching the PGA on sky and mickleson just cracked some poor fella on the noggin.... not even the slightest hint of a shout from anyone.

Absolute disgrace.

And I know he's not the only one.... the pros know if they get a good "bounce" the ball will stay in play.

Shocking.

meh, he should have been looking.

I was playing Mickelson bingo with the wife and mother in law. Pause the TV as Phil starts the backswing and you have to guess whether he hits it right or left. Wife says right, mother in law says left. Turns out they were both correct.

Mickelson is the only guy I know who can miss a fairway on both sides on the same shot.

....and he'll still get up and down for par 😃

Plenty of shouts at Wentworth too. Seems just those on the PGA tour that in the main, are unable to open their mouths and think an arm half heartedly waved from 300 yards away is more than sufficient warning. I still believe sooner rather than later, someone will get hit and a signed glove won't cut it and there will be a law case arising. Then Pandora's box will be opened

The way the people around the marshall reacted and laughed at Mickleson's joke about having a softer head, if he shouted fore they'd probably all run towards the ball trying to get their free signed glove..

What surprised me more than not shouting 'Fore' (which is pretty disgusting) was in his interview Phil was laughing about it and that the guy continued marshalling.

They were shouting it aplenty in Ireland last week so the players on the ET are far better than it was

I was marshalling at Wentworth last week and I heard plenty of fores being shouted by pros off the 17th tee and as the approach to the green.

One boy about 12 yrs got struck on the head nr 17th green on the Saturday about 50 yards from me.It was Westwoods pairing but it was Thomas Pieters ball . He apologised to the boy at the time whilst Paramedics were checking the boy over. Pieters caddie spoke to my colleague who was closer to the action and asked him to get the boys email address and pass it onto Thomas Aiken caddie coming up behind.

I think Westwood when he knew the boy was going to be OK joked that he could have knocked it back into the fairway, it went into the semi rough.

My colleague showed me the bit of paper with the boys details and he also joked that he was going to scribble them out and put his name down ......well I hope he was only joking about that lol.
