Not used a 5.5 but got a 6.0 in my old driver and a rip 60s in my current Titleist. There isn't much difference between those 2 so I would say the rip would play stiffer than the 5.5 The rip also has a lot more feel and feedback. I think the expression is less 'boardy'

Cheers for the reply mate ,i tried a PX5.5 in a Ping i20 ,i didn't get anything out of it at all,maybe need something softer as i get older haha.

Try the stock Ping offering in regular mate. Its a UST shaft as far as I'm aware and a very very good stock offering, also lower launching than the PX.
