What do you guys think?

It's becoming a trend around here - loads of black/grey/green/blue cars with red/orange/yellow/purple wheels..

It's a shame they don't realise how stupid it looks..

I love it, it looks so stylish and sporty. He must have got advice from a top design team on that set up.

Or I could be slightly less sarcastic and say it looks as sporty as John Prescott, as attractive as Ann Widecome and as sleek as Bella Emberg.

So in no uncertain terms it looks utter toss.

Agreed
But I'll go with Homer's view until I know anything different....

I thought in this country, the burden was to prove guilt.

"Innocent until proven guilty" and all that.

I know stereotypes have a reason for why they exist, but it is a bit of a sad reflection if we really are willing to judge people we don't know this harshly.

I do it every minute of every day on the road.

Everyone else is a complete and utter moron until I know different.

I assume really that you are referring to driving defensively, and so making the assumption that if something bad can potentially happen especially through someone elses actions, you are prepared for it. Thats (not so) common sense. There's a rationale behind what you are doing, I (maybe wrongly) don't believe you are truly judging the persons character, in the same way.

In a similar thread of thought, if you see someone dressed improperly on a golf course, ignoring etiquette, and breaking the rules, do you assume this person is:

A) a rude a-hole and a cheat. Best avoid them at all costs, and later on have a laugh\moan to your mates\the pro\the Mrs\anyone else at their expense.
B) a beginner, who would really appreciate it, if you explained to them the rules and etiquette of golf, so that they won't make the same mistakes next time.

Not surprising golf has a snobbish image, if we all choose answer A

It's always struck me as odd that people spend so much money on customizing a car with the effect of:

1. Lowering its value
2. Pushing up its insurance premium.

Still, each to their own.
