Pro v1's (pink type)

built up £66 in my pro-shop account from the start of the season. qualified for the hcp championship which starts in a weeks time.

wanted some brand new balls to play with to get ready for aforementioned championship

my pro has a dozen Prov'1s on special offer for £33 - only slight downside is they have pink numbers and pink 'pro v1 'lettering on them - I think they were either a ladies special or a breast cancer awareness special


would the colour of the print bother you whilst playing?


so should I buy them ?, and would you?
 
Bought them when they were on sale last year and also got one box earlier.

Go for it - you at least won't have any ball indent issues
 
I should mention that i'm male, heterosexual, and in no way trying to 'out' any of the many homophobes on this forum

I'm simply wondering if playing pink would bother you? and more to the point, would the excellent price sway you?
 
Wouldn't bother me in the slightest. Im in touch with my feminine side. And besides which, they will all end up in the same place sooner or later....

Not one bit. Pro V1's for £33 not bad. The pink is very subtle and they are a limited edition. Hell put a box away in the attic and they may be worth a lot more in years to come.

Colour wouldn't effect me in the slightest, unless the balls were green :)
 
It wouldn't bother me one jot, but I bought 2 dozen Srixon Soft feel for £30 from my pro and like them just as much as a Pro v
 
The pink ones are my preferred ProV's... But then again I almost bought a pink G20.... But had second thoughts as it was ping..

I'm happy to have my pink labelled ProV's roll past my FC drives any day.

Wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

I mark my ball with a pink dot from a luminescent Sharpie over the number anyway so this would probably be more understated that what I currently have :thup:
 
ended up buying myself 2 dozen of them today before our weekly Wednesday medal. neither of my FC even blinked an eyelid when I described my ball on the first tee.

although they felt amazing off the tee, and off the putter face, they still resulted in me going up 0.1 (actually my fault, not the balls)
