Pro Celebrity Golf

I just commented on another thread regarding the Royal Trophy and why I would much rather the BBC made some new episodes of Pro Celebrity Golf or show reruns of the original matches, now I realise that neither are likely to happen for different reasons, so does any body know if it is possible to watch the original episodes?

They have such an event here in Bournemouth every year ,in sept I think , its the Alliss/merlo and its played at Ferndown Golf club , good crack and you can play a medal at your club and if you score well you get to play in this event ..................Peter Alliss has a lot to do with it .....................EYG

There was a version of this on ITV not so long back with Ant and Dec hosting. Then sky bought it and did a not so popular version and it's been shelved ever since I believe

Long consigned to the archive format these days. No way it'll be resurrected. There may be stuff on Youtube but nowhere else I can think of. As a footnote. if you find one with James Bolam in a pair of white shoes, they were what I sold him the morning he was due to fly to Scotland as he'd forgotten to pack his and called in to the club on the way to Heathrow

I really miss the BBC's pro celeb golf, it wouldnt be the same nowdays though as everybody involved would want a ridiculous fee.Many celebs including Brucie say it was a great time in their lives to be a part of it.
