Noticed in the latest copy of GM a piece about Jeff Overton. There he is with all his Adams gear etc, trouble is its a set of Mizuno irons in there.

any one seen other examples of this?

the whole TM woods thing is fairly common, but not the irons so much!

Seems a fair trade, play the clubs you want but still get some sponsorship money, in the end its only a name.

Something I seem to remember seeing a bit 20 odd years ago, pros being sponsored by a major brand then playing a less well known brand!

Most pros have individual deals, either for the irons, sometimes the whole bag but the putter is normally excluded as it's such a personal choice.
