Hi guys, quick question.

Thinking of entering a pro-am at 2010 course with 2 mates and a pro I am friendly with. My question is about the entry fee, is it the done thing for the fee to be split among the 3 ams? Or split 4 ways?

New at pro ams so not sure. I kind of suspect it's up to the ams, what say you?

Cheers
Stu

Pro Ams the fee is split between the AM's

The Pro will have his own entry fee

Thanks Phil, thought that might be the case.

Thats how its been in every Pro Am i have played mate and dont think i have ever heard of it being different.

I play about 8 each year and think they are great - great prizes and really good to play with a Pro and see the difference in the way they put the ball around the course

I'm hoping to get my mates who I used to play with every week when I lived in London for our 3, and a pro I know who I get on with and is about our age, should be good.

Only played one so far and the pro didn't pay

Good job for the pro guy in front of our group as he was four off the tee, not four stokes, three balls OB with the driver then an iron to the fairway for an 11 on that hole

Certainly took the 1st tee pressure off our group ;)

I played in a Pro Am at Princes a couple of years ago, and was delighted to find that our Pro was none other than Robert Rock.
It was a really, (really), rough day, high winds and the odd spot of rain here and there. Possibly the second most windiest day I've ever been out on a course (the worst was Dunbar in 1991).
On one par 5 into the wind, Rock hit Driver, 3 wood, 3 wood and still came up short of the green
