Just reading the Equipment supplement of this month's GM and I saw the full page spread for Prince's GC advertising a fourball for £200 with food.

Having played there last Friday (36 holes and still recovering ) I can heartily recommend a visit.....BUT...be aware that ther are doing some considerable amount of work on the course in readiness for Open Qualifying. They created many new bunkers that were all GUR and had shifted quite a bit of earth at various points (not on the holes but pathways etc).

I love the course and personally this did not detract from the experience, but I just wanted to let others know if they were planning on going.

Cheers for that - had thought about going down there under the offer. Personally they work they're doing wouldn't bother me, but some people may be put off by it. If any other forumers are interested could look to do something.

The new bunkering is predominantly on the 'Dunes' with some on the 'Shore' 9 hole loops. The looked the business though, revetted faces, deep and well placed.....managed to find a few and was relieved to pick out.

The weather was cr*p but still love it there.

Managed a bit of a stroll and couple of putts on St Georges as well.....but don't tell :D :D ;)
