i had a lesson with a guy called anders mankert last year and he was great, put my fault right and away i went...

im now thinking of another lesson with him as my game has gone a bit pear shape and just want putting back on the right track..

i have just rang the club where he is now based as he has moved since last time and the price is £29 for half hour!!

This sounds a bit steep to me so im wondering what you guys have paid for lessons

In my North Yorkshire experience:

Teaching pro = £50/hour
Video lesson = £25/half hour
Club pro = £15/half hour
Assistant pro = £12/half hour

25 quid from my pro at the club, the guy who owns the academy is 30 I think.

The 25 quid is not a strict 30 mins though, it might be 20 if you get it sorted quickly or 45 mins if it needs a little more work.

Either way I reckon it's good value.

i think ours are 30.00 per hour, or they do a good package,

4 x 1 video hour lessons,
1 x 9 hole teach lesson,
video lessons all burnt to CD
USB stick with copy of lessons and stat manager program
£125.00

It doesn't sound particularly cheap, but if you trust the guy to sort your issues out quickly then it might end up cheaper than cheaper lessons with someone else who takes longer to fix you.

junior price mine is £10 for 30 minutes, but if he doesn't have a lesson straight after it could be up to an hour. He's trying to make the european tour this year so he's allways up for a game aswell.

I'm getting lessons at the minute for £17 per half hour. No video stuff though, simply smashing balls at the range. To be fair it seems to be working after the initial mind set which cocks everything up for a little bit.
