I finally joined my home club again on Thursday there and headed out for a few holes for the first time in roughly 10 months.
It's been a few weeks since I got the cast off my wrist and it was a bit sore to say the least.i was having to swing it very easy and concentrate on having a very short follow through.this is where it hurts the most,its my left wrist so obviously on the follow through where the wrist breaks it hurts like a good'un......still good to be back though.
I'm loving the clubs and the putter is awesome,I was always use to that dinosaur aged thing I had and this putter has loads of feel to it.....I reckon I'm going to enjoy golf more this year and hopefully for many more years to come.
Another good thing was the missus and wee man came along with me and together we all enjoy the walk,that's something we have all missed and its good for keeping the weight down as well.
I remember when I started playing golf again back in April 2011 and this was 7 months after I had broken my left wrist and sometimes when I would hit the driver I would get a slight twinge from it so I knew it would be ten times worse this time round and sure enough it is.....it will get better though and I reckon it will do my wrist the world of good and help it loosen it up.already the movement is lots more than it was and better than I was expecting.
