I'll be honest, even though the weather is looking mighty fine and dandy, I'd take anything over 90 stableford points for all 3 now. Ok, I know medal is the Scottish way, but that's the overall comp between the lads.

Looking forward to Western, more than Prestwick at the mo, but looking forward to all 3 in a great part of the world.

Well I joined the boys for their round at Glasgow Gailes tonight, awesome golf course. Fairways are pretty tight and rough/heather murder to get out of, you take your punishment and move on. I would say only 1 weak hole which was the short 8th but the rest were very good and its a course where you have to appreciate what it gives you and i feel it would only get better the more you play it. We had it on a relatively calm day but fancy it would chew you up with a stiff breeze.

A course I will definately play again, its Scottish Links at its best.

Andy I think is leading just now, I think they are accumulating scores over 3 days.

I did get a prize today for nearest the pin, I donated my 3 Dunlop DDH (yes your reading right, LB was a tad embarrassed I think) to Paul.

Should add, Scouser is buying my Scouse :whoo: he still thinks matchplay is his thing though.

100 stableford points over 3 rounds, get in you beauty.

Course reviews to follow, particular highlights where:-

Splashing out of a pot bunker whilst kneeling outside it to 10 inches for par at Glasgow Gailes.

Chipping in for an eagle on a par 5 at Western Gailes.

Going round Western Gailes front 9 in one under gross.

Hitting the 16th par 4 at Prestwick in one, birdie to follow.

30 points at Glasgow gailes, 38 points at Western gailes and 32 at Prestwick in the rain and wind.

Well played mate, good scoring. Forgot about that shot at GG, pretty decent effort that.

He's not called Scouser anymore, he's now known as Heather.

Heather  I take it there was a bit of character building going on :fore:

Sounds like the golfing gods have been restoring the equilibrium, that voodoo doll Danny was telling me about must of worked :D
