Prestwick St Nicholas, St Patricks Day

Due to thecraws injury I have a space for a couple if you would to join me and Alan Mc at my course for a wee hit. Tee off 11am followed by a Guinness (or half pint if your driving)

For those that maybe don't know St Patricks Day is this Thursay 17th March.

As predicted the weather was great. Sunny intervals with about 3 spots of rain on the 15th.

Really enjoying playing with Del and he played some great shots and like myself some not so great shots.

Without going into any detail I ended up with 34 points with 5 -6's and a 7. A half dozen pars helped my case. Not sure how many Del ended up with but it was in the mid 40's

Dels ability to find GUR bunkers amazed me today and he managed to get a couple of pars from some sticky lies. Anyway today has left me looking foward to playing again Sat and then the first Major of the year at Machrihanish on the 26th

Thanks for your hospitality and company today, Fabian.

Just totted up the points and I was 17 out and 20 back, with one blob on each nine. 48 strokes out and 43 back, for 91, nett 69, which is Par golf for me.

Cracking course and some really good holes. Would love to come back and play it in the summer.................

Oh, and I only found two bunkers all day!!!

I really enjoy St Nicks. Sadly though for a great course there is a drawback, thats having to put up with Fabian!
