Can anyone recommend some good sports glasses which I can get supplied with prescription lenses. I know you can get oakley's and I have a set of a-wire sunglasses but I'm wondering if there are any others out there at a better price.

I have some wrong prescription quicksilver glasses with sprung hinges but there aren't as grippy a fit as the oakleys so not sure these would be suitable. This would be the simplest option as I'd just get new lenses fitted.

What do you guys/gals use?

Cheers, Kev

I have Oakleys with some transition lenses, not cheap but dont then have the faff of carrying two pairs around.

Other options I used when doing triathlons were adidas with an RX prescription, this is an infill type thing that can be used on difference frames - I pefer the oakleys tho ;)

Hi Kev,
I have Ray Ban varifocals with transition lenses which I wear all the time. Apart from golf, I have a classic open top car so they are ideal and it saves having to carry a spare pair of prescription sunglasses. I find the brown lenses better for golf than the grey ones.

Transistion lenses are pants in my opinion, they tend to go dark even on non sunny days so you look a right wally wearing dark shades when the sun isnt shining, they also take too long to clear so you walk in and they are still dark, crap idea in my opinion

Go for contact lenses instead !
