Premiership Season

Are you talking about the Scottish Premiership?
Or the English Premier League?

And so what?
What on earth is a joke about it?
It is what it is, if you don't like it don't watch it.

I don't!!! I'm JUST COMMENTING, on what I see that's all.

But you exclaimed "what's going on?........ It's beyond a joke...."

What's the problem?

There just seems to be no respite from it. The 1st division used to be completed the Saturday before the FA Cup final, so approximately the end of April, now it seems, with LESS matched to get in, they need and extra 3 weeks to fit LESS games in?????

The managers whine on about the length of the season here and yet don't bring up the fact that it is now 3 weeks longer than it used to be!!!

Longer probably because of the international breaks for useless friendlies that cause all premier league games to be postponed, also no midweek games during the European ties either.

Plus does it really matter, the prima donna players and managers complain of having to play a football match every 7 days ... the poor things!!!

When I was growing up, the FA Cup final always used to be around 18th May iirc, not end of April.

Lots of non-prem weeks during the season due to CL, international friendlies and qualifiers.

Too true! But I have the agony of watching us win our remaining games 5 nil a piece, knowing it's not going to be enough :p

Moyes came across as cool and steely to me at Everton, now my perception is he's just extremely negative, boring and lacking any personality or ability to inspire.
Looks like you'd be better with a change.

I thought he was like that at United as well. It was always a tough gig at Sunderland but while the players have some responsibility he as the manager didn't seem able to inspire a change

Announcing "we're in a relegation fight" or similar, at the beginning of the season was amazing.
