In not sure if anyone can help but my powerkaddy highway has developed a nasty noise from the left wheel (as you push it),

When the trolley is being powered by the motor there is no noise, but when the trolley is free rolling theres a nasty squeeky noise like a bearing is gone. ive taken the wheel of but cant see a removable changable bearing, but the inner sleeve is definately damaged in some way which is making the noise.

is anyone else aware of any problems with this model, and/or can someone point me into the direction of someone who can cure this nasty squeeky crunching noise.

It's possibly a small build up of dirt, sand etc which is creating friction around the bearing. I had simillar on my trolley. All I done was to take the wheel off the trolley and apply a degreaser to the bearing area and work it in. after washing it off I reapplied some oil (engine oil was all i had to hand) and job done. Noise and friciton gone.

I doubt it's much more than that.

Hope it helps

John.

cheers john, done a little diggin on ebay and it seems mine is the older models where the clutch is in the left wheel. this would explain why that is the wheel that moans and squeeks.

ive taken the wheel off to check it and basically the sleeve in the wheel squeeks when free wheeling. im going to do what you said anyway,

Does anyone know if you can replace the clucth in the inner left wheel? only found complete wheels @ @34.00 each and none match my style so id need 2,..... bugger
